Job summary

Partner One Software Inc is seeking an M&A Associate for a full-time, remote role. You will support research, evaluation, due diligence, and execution of software acquisitions, with exposure to a high volume of live opportunities and a fast-paced deal lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development, with software M&A experience, strong financial modeling, and the confidence to interact with C-level executives. Strong academics required.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Development is required.
Prior experience with software M&A transactions is a must.
Strong academic performance from a top-tier institution.
Undergraduate degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and source software businesses that meet acquisition criteria and key performance metrics.
Develop and execute targeted prospecting campaigns via email and outbound calls.
Build and nurture relationships with prospective acquisition targets and sell-side M&A investment banking firms.
Lead preliminary evaluations of potential acquisitions, including initial business and financial due diligence.
Own and manage a robust deal pipeline, updating as new targets emerge.
Conduct industry and market research to identify trends and uncover new opportunities.
Review and analyze investment materials, synthesizing data into insights and presentations.
Drive acquisition opportunities forward from sourcing to execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support data requests and due diligence.
