Job summary

Hamilton Behavioral is seeking a fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with Counseling Compact eligibility to deliver telehealth services as a 1099 independent contractor. You design your own schedule and work remotely across participating states.

You will provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, or families, conduct intake assessments, and maintain compliant documentation. No quotas; marketing and billing are handled by the company so you can focus on clinical care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
• Counseling Compact license (privilege to practice in participating compact states).
• Prior telehealth or virtual counseling experience preferred.
• Active, independent professional liability malpractice insurance required.
• Reliable high-speed internet, a secure computer, and a private HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based virtual therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Manage your own caseload based on personal availability and capacity.
