Job summary

Hamilton Behavioral is seeking a fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with Counseling Compact privileges to provide telehealth therapy on a 1099 independent contractor basis. The role offers total autonomy, remote work, and the opportunity to build a client caseload across participating states.

You will conduct intake assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation while avoiding quotas and embracing flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPC credential.
• Counseling Compact license to practice in participating states.
• Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling preferred.
• Must carry active professional liability malpractice insurance.
• Reliable high-speed internet and HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based virtual therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Manage caseload based on personal availability and capacity.
