Job summary

Hamilton Behavioral is seeking a fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide high-quality telehealth services. This 1099 independent contractor role offers complete autonomy, with a fully remote setup and the ability to build a caseload on your terms across participating states.

You will conduct intake assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation while managing your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPC credential.
• Must hold a Counseling Compact license (privilege to practice in participating compact states).
• Prior telehealth/virtual counseling experience preferred.
• Must carry active professional liability malpractice insurance.
• Reliable high-speed internet, secure computer, private HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based virtual therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Manage your own caseload based on personal availability and capacity.
