Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Three years of workers’ compensation experience required.
• Ability to manage claims through the litigation process.
• Must pass the claims adjuster license exams within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and establishes an action plan to manage medical and indemnity benefits.
• Decides the outcome of the claim using policy and guidelines.
• Gathers facts by interviewing involved parties and considers all elements of the claim.
• Determines eligibility of indemnity and medical benefits after salary and treatment plans are secured.
• Utilizes reserves reflecting probable outcomes throughout the life of the claim.
• Collaborates with claim director, return-to-work specialists, and medical professionals.
