Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Loss Draft Specialist to work remotely from home. The role involves processing checks and documents, reviewing inspections, and evaluating exceptions while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

The position requires 2+ years in insurance/related fields, strong claims knowledge, and attention to detail. You will interact with adjusters, inspectors, and clients to manage draw eligibility and risk classification, ensuring timely responses and service

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, mortgage servicing or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of claims handling and claims practices.
• Familiarity with property estimating systems and claims documentation procedures.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform loss draft and property damage requirements including processing checks and documents, ordering and reviewing inspections, and evaluating exceptions.
• Review adjuster worksheets for depreciation, validate scope/costs of repairs and take appropriate action.
• Review and evaluate claim packages and order/review inspection reports to determine draw eligibility.
• Reduce risk or loss by assessing the classification of the claim.
• Comply with company policies, laws and regulations governing claims handling.
• Protect the client by initiating fraud processes when necessary.
• Monitor quality of services and provide recommendations to management.
