Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group seeks a Sr Assoc, Long Term Disability Claims Specialist to support complex disability claims from Charlotte, NC, with remote opportunities. You will liaise with claimants, employers and medical professionals to gather details, review records, and determine appropriate action in a timely, ethical manner.

Qualifications

Must have 3–5 years of Long Term Disability claims experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Communicating with claimants, employers and medical professionals by phone and email to gather information on Long Term Disability claims.
Collaborating with case managers and physicians to make timely claim determinations.
Reviewing medical records to determine approval durations and future actions throughout the claim lifecycle.
Provide exceptional customer service and identify opportunities for improved outcomes.
