Genworth is seeking an experienced Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership governance team in the US. You will govern LTC models, data flows, and controls to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

The role focuses on valuation, inforce rate actions, projections, experience, and data analytics, with peer reviews and analysis support across the model governance function.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related major.
• FSA designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, and experience.
• Results oriented, accountable for performance, and ownership of projects.

Responsabilités

• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and make improvement recommendations
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls
• Provide governance peer review support for the development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes
