Acara Solutions in Cary, NC is looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Project Specialist to support field operations by managing consignment inventory, trunk stock, tools, and test equipment across a distributed service organization.

You will serve as a key resource for inventory reporting, reconciliation, and process improvements, partnering with field teams, logistics providers, finance, and customer support to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required.
  • 2+ years in inventory management, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain support.
  • SAP and MS Office experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inventory support to field service personnel and internal partners via phone and online.
  • Coordinate annual physical inventory activities including scheduling, reconciliation, and follow-up actions.
  • Research and resolve inventory issues such as discrepancies, billing corrections, and returns.

What You'll Do
  • Provide inventory support to field service personnel and internal partners through phone and online assistance.
  • Coordinate and execute annual physical inventory activities, including scheduling, reconciliation, variance analysis, and follow-up actions.
  • Research and resolve inventory-related issues, including service report discrepancies, billing corrections, serial number errors, and return-processing exceptions.
  • Partner with logistics, finance, and field management teams to investigate missing parts, correct transaction errors, and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare inventory reports, analyze trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives related to spare parts, tools, and test equipment management.
What You'll Bring
  • Associate Degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, materials management, or supply chain support.
