Job summary

JVC Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Fleet Dispatch to organize transportation shipments and return our fleet to Byron Center, MI. The role focuses on backhauls, rate negotiations, and coordinating with drivers, brokers and the TMS system (Prophecy).

You will monitor hours of service, track shipments, manage paperwork, and ensure timely communications. Training is available for the right candidate, with a competitive benefits package and day-one benefits in a family company

Qualifications

• Experience with transportation or freight logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of FMCSA and HOS constraints is a plus.
• Proficiency with TMS and load documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments and notify brokers of delays.
• Ensure Hours of Service compliance for drivers.
• Secure and dispatch backhauls to maximize loaded miles.
• Enter load details into Prophecy and attach paperwork.
• Communicate with drivers, team members, and brokers.
• Manage rate confirmations and POD/BOLs for billing.
