Job summary

JVC Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Fleet Dispatch to arrange transportation shipments and return our fleet to the Byron Center, MI area. The role involves tracking shipments, HOS compliance, and coordinating backhauls with brokers and drivers.

Proficiency with Prophecy TMS and related tools is required; some remote work may be possible after training. The position offers benefits and a family-company feel with the security of a larger organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in transportation or manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication and scheduling abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel and relevant transport software.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments and notify brokers or recipients of delays.
• EnsureHours-of-Service compliance and plan backhauls accordingly.
• Use Prophecy TMS to load and update shipments, attach documents, and manage changes.
• Coordinate with drivers, brokers, and dispatch team to optimize loads and backhauls.
