Job summary

Silver Fern Chemical is seeking a Customer Solutions and Logistics Coordinator for a fully remote role serving the East Coast and Midwest regions.

You will receive and process purchase orders in Datacor Chempax, coordinate 3rd party logistics, provide ETA updates, collaborate with Sales and Accounting, and maintain high customer service levels. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm EST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in B2B service organization or 1 year in equivalent job(s) preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and creative problem solving.
• Commitment to accuracy and accountability for job performance.
• Receptive to constructive feedback from peers and mentors.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to complete a workload.
• Datacor Chempax ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming purchase orders and delegate tasks for workload management.
• Places and processes customer product orders into Datacor Chempax ERP system.
• Coordinate optimal 3rd party logistics solutions and work with providers.
• Follow and implement special instructions for accounts and notation on service incidents.
• Provide current ETA updates to customers.
• Maintain exceptional customer service levels.
• Obtain freight rates and schedule deliveries; process inbound notifications.
• Receive material in ERP or invoice customers accordingly.
• Generate SFC COAs as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries by phone and maintain confidence with clear expectations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Accounting to address concerns and set expectations.
• Work with Purchasing and Sales to manage orders.
• Participate in training and provide constructive feedback.
• Meet team objectives and deadlines while promoting teamwork.
• Workdays: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm EST.
