Job summary

Acclaro is seeking a Localization Project Manager to own day-to-day delivery of localization programmes, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations and ensure efficient, accurate work.

You will collaborate with Senior Project Managers, Program Managers, linguists, vendors, and engineers, driving risk mitigation, schedules, and continuous improvement while supporting growth into broader leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience managing localization projects in a language-services or global delivery environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound operational judgement.
• Confident communication with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients across cultures/time zones.
• Understand localization workflows, quality management practices, and project financial fundamentals.
• Comfort with project-management platforms, reporting tools, and localization technology.
• Take ownership of work and follow through on commitments.
• Willing to learn/grow into broader customer-facing leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of localization projects and workstreams; meet quality, schedule, budget, and client requirements.
• Coordinate activities across linguists, vendors, engineers, publishers, DTP, quality teams, and others.
• Build and maintain project plans; manage timelines/dependencies; track milestones; communicate progress.
• Allocate resources; monitor utilization; address capacity, capability or scheduling challenges.
• Serve as primary operational contact for assigned projects; provide updates and manage expectations.
• Identify delivery risks early; develop mitigation plans; elevate issues when needed.
• Ensure localization workflows, system requirements, and quality controls are followed.
• Monitor project quality; coordinate reviews and corrective actions; drive improvements.
• Prepare project estimates, quotes, and budget inputs; monitor budget performance.
• Use translation management systems and AI-enabled processes to improve outcomes.
• Support change management: workflow changes, new services, and tech enhancements.
• Manage routine escalations; document actions; ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate project data, reporting, forecasts, and records.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and responsive service.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Program Management, Sales, Solutions, Engineering, Vendor Management, Quality teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and delivery processes.
• Share knowledge through documentation and onboarding support.
