Zipline, based in Texas, is seeking a Local Government Affairs Manager in a remote-capable role. You will serve as the public face of Zipline’s government relations, tracking policy proposals, leading site visits, and maintaining strong ties with officials across metros and states.

You will bring deep knowledge of local government processes, excellent communication, and a drive to navigate a fast-changing regulatory landscape while supporting Zipline’s growth in new communities and markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in government affairs at the state or local level.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience presenting new and complex technology to diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with local government officials in Zipline’s served/target cities.
• Serve as an expert on local issues related to autonomous drone delivery and safety, privacy, and trust.
• Collaborate with land use, permitting, and local approvals teams to ensure operational consistency.
• Coordinate and lead site visits and events for government officials across metros.
• Develop processes to improve company-wide operational continuity and keep systems updated.
• Monitor local policy proposals and advise Zipline on engagement.
