Job summary

Education Travel & Culture (ETC) seeks a Local Coordinator to connect high school exchange students with host families and provide local support. This part-time hybrid role offers flexibility and community impact, with training and ongoing support from ETC.

As an LC, you will expand our program’s reach, build relationships with families and schools, and promote international understanding while earning supplemental income through recruitment and student supervision.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and well-networked within the communities.
• Ability to recruit and screen qualified host families.
• Comfort with in-person engagement and community outreach.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with potential host families, school administrators, and community influencers.
• Identify, recruit and screen qualified host families; training provided on locating families and marketing materials.
• Engage in person with exchange students, host families, and local high schools with monthly meetings and orientations.
• Represent and promote ETC in the community through social media, email marketing, press releases, and local media.
• Independent contractor role, flexible schedule (5-10 Hours/Month), mostly from home.
• Annual performance-based incentive trips including international travel opportunities.
• Potential for growth into a management position.
