A nonprofit educational exchange organization in the United States seeks a Local Coordinator to support international exchange students and host families. This part-time role offers flexible hours and supplemental income based on recruitment efforts. Ideal candidates are community-minded individuals, such as teachers or social workers, who can work independently. This position allows you to make a positive impact while promoting global goodwill.

Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve and support students and host families during the students' program.
• Self-motivated, organized, well-networked within the community.
• Driver’s License and transportation required.
• Ability to pass a Background Check.
• Recruitment skills with the ability to screen potential leads (Nice-to-have).
• Compensation is dependent upon recruitment efforts and student oversight. This position provides supplemental income ONLY.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools.
• Involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for international high-school students.
• Oversight of the exchange student on a monthly basis.
• LCs may recruit host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls and outbound emails.

ETC provides inbound program opportunities for high school students worldwide to study in an American high school and live with an American family. ETC's outbound program offers students the chance to study and live in a foreign country. Education Travel & Culture is a unique, personalized organization whose first goal is to provide exceptional support for both students and host families through a network of local coordinators and dedicated office staff.

Education Travel and Culture (ETC) is a non‑profit [501(c)(3)] educational exchange organization. We recruit host families across the country for international high‑school exchange students. We are looking for a part‑time/supplemental income Local Coordinator to join our team!

Local Coordinators (LC's)

Work closely with exchange students, host families, and local high schools including monthly oversight of the exchange student. Receive full training, teaching and ongoing support from the Field Manager. May be involved in the recruitment of volunteer host families for our international high‑school students.

Community‑mindled individuals such as teachers, volunteers, and social workers make great Student Support Coordinators! LC's may recruit host families through reverse networking, job postings, phone calls and outbound emails. You will be compensated for each host family that you recruit. Your hours will be based upon how many families you recruit and exchange students you oversee.

This is an independent contractor position which enables you to work at home and within your own schedule.
