Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of collections, customer service, call center, banking, or related experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact members regarding delinquent accounts and work toward resolution.
• Manage consumer loan, credit card, negative share, and small commercial collections.
• Maintain accurate collection records and documentation.
• Apply state and federal regulations related to collections and consumer protection.
• Partner with attorneys, repossession vendors, and external agencies when appropriate.
• Make recommendations on repossessions, charge-offs, and strategies.
• Deliver exceptional member service while meeting performance goals.
• Support department reporting and operational initiatives.
