Job summary

Cardinal Behavioral Health Center in Lynn, MA is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time, remote position in an outpatient setting. You will assess clients, create personalized treatment plans, and provide individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents with mood, trauma, substance use, and related disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree required from an accredited institution.
• License as LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT in Massachusetts required.
• Minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and related software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for new patients to understand mental health needs.
• Develop tailored therapy plans with specific interventions and goals.
• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients for support and progression.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals for holistic care.
