Job summary

Adorn Life Behavioral Health Center seeks compassionate Mental Health Counselors to join our remote outpatient psychiatric team in Lynn, Massachusetts. This full-time role focuses on delivering evidence-based care to adults facing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use.

We support licensed professionals (LMHC/LMFT/LICSW) with strong assessment and treatment planning skills, EHR proficiency, and dedication to ethical practice in a collaborative, flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW in Massachusetts.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Proven experience in mental health assessments and tailoring treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse patients.
• Ethical practice, sound judgment, and professional boundaries.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT and solution-focused therapy for individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups for community engagement.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals for holistic patient care.
• Respond to mental health emergencies with crisis intervention strategies and ongoing support.
• Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and community resources.
• Maintain confidential, compliant documentation of therapeutic interactions and interventions.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to support professional development.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health therapy through ongoing education.
