Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a remote software engineer to collaborate with an AI enablement pod, delivering LLM-powered features and reusable capabilities. You will pair with a senior AI Solutions Architect and work with product managers, engineers, and the AI platform team to ship production-ready services.

Responsibilities include building RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, and APIs, while ensuring observability, testing, and cost tracking. W2 hourly role with strong growth in AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering.
• Backend experience in .NET or Java with Python familiarity.
• Experience delivering LLM-powered features, e.g., RAG, tool calling, prompts.
• Experience with Azure or comparable cloud, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship LLM-powered features including RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, multi-step workflows, and prompt frameworks.
• Integrate solutions with the AI middleware platform and contribute reusable capabilities.
• Implement evaluation and testing for AI outputs including test sets, automated checks, regression detection, and quality gates.
• Develop APIs, backend services, integrations, and UI components for AI features.
• Add observability, logging, and cost tracking to deployed AI systems and fix issues.
• Pair with solution team engineers to enable independent feature development.
• Document designs, decisions, and lessons for future teams.
