Job summary

CCOF is seeking a Livestock Certification Supervisor to lead a team of Certification Specialists and ensure adherence to USDA NOP and OPT Grass-Fed standards. The role oversees ~160 livestock clients and reports to the Director of Farm Certification in a United States-based remote setting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in CCOF certification with leadership experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience as a CCOF Certification Specialist including demonstrated leadership or equivalent.
• Understanding of National Organic Program (NOP) organic livestock standards and certification processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Livestock Certification Specialists to provide high-quality technical and customer services.
• Ensure implementation of USDA NOP and OPT Grass Fed standards and update positions as regulations evolve.
• Oversee program activities, staff performance, and cross-department collaboration on Livestock certification.
