Job summary

MOSA is seeking a Certification Specialist to review client files for compliance with the National Organic Standards. This remote role reports to the Certification Manager and sits within the Certification department, with responsibilities including documentation and fee assessment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in agriculture or organic industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Occasional travel to industry events may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in organic programs is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Review client files for compliance with National Organic Standards.
• Document review work and issue certification documents.
• Enforce MOSA and NOP requirements.
• Prioritize and manage reviews to meet deadlines.
• Assess and apply MOSA fee schedules.
