Mercor is seeking a Litigation Expert for a remote contract role. You will lead sophisticated commercial litigation tasks and develop strategies for pre-trial phases and arbitration.

You will work with e-discovery platforms like Relativity and Everlaw, draft pleadings, and ensure procedural compliance across US and international rules.

Candidates should have 5+ years at top firms or in-house, JD with bar admission, and proven trial/arbitration ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as litigator or trial attorney at leading firm or in-house
• Direct ownership of complex commercial matters with trial/arbitration experience
• Fluency with litigation tooling and procedural rules
• JD with bar admission or international equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Create litigation scenarios across discovery, motions, trials, and settlements/arbitration
• Handle complex commercial, class action, discovery, and appellate tasks
• Develop scenarios using Relativity, Everlaw, and related tools
• Apply case strategy, discovery and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda
• Author rubrics distinguishing authentic litigation judgment from generic recalls
