Job summary

Jobot is actively seeking a Defense Litigation Paralegal for a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of litigation experience, with emphasis on Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation, and can manage large document sets and strict deadlines.

This position supports attorneys through discovery, trial preparation, and report drafting, working from anywhere in AZ, UT, NM, CO, or other remote locations across the U.S. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation.
• Paralegal Studies degree or certificate from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation from inception through discovery and trial.
• Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare reports for case preparation.
• Manage and organize large volumes of documents including medical records and discovery materials.
• Coordinate and manage timelines for court filings and case events.
• Assist with deposition and trial preparation and document reviews.
• Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
