Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a fully remote position based in Arizona. The attorney will conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and assist in trials and depositions for defense matters.

Requirements include a JD, AZ bar admission (CO a plus), 5+ years of defense litigation, and preference for construction or business-related experience. Salary ranges from $160,000 to $175,000 per year plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the state bar of Arizona and Colorado is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal research to support ongoing cases.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, contracts, and wills.
• Assist partners and senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
• Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments on their behalf.
• Communicate with clients to keep them informed about their legal matters.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
