The Freelance Firm, LLC is actively interviewing for a qualified Litigation Paralegal for remote, contract-based work. The position requires 35–40 hours per week with the potential to transition to a permanent full-time role.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience and strong litigation background. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, managing case deadlines, and handling court filings with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience.
• Strong litigation experience in any practice area.
• Excellent drafting skills including pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and deadlines.
• Experience managing cases and moving matters forward independently.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with court filings, calendaring, and deadline management.
• Ability to handle multiple active cases and prioritize assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, accountable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be available for at least 35 hours per week.
• Interest in a long-term opportunity with potential to become full-time.
