Thefreelancefirm is seeking a qualified Litigation Paralegal for a remote, contract-based role in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This opportunity requires 35–40 hours per week with potential to convert to a full-time position.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of paralegal experience with strong litigation, drafting, and case-management skills. Real estate or landlord/tenant experience is a plus, but not required. Pay starts at $30/hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience.
• Strong litigation experience across any practice area.
• Excellent drafting skills for pleadings, motions, discovery, and other documents.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, deadlines.
• Experience managing cases and moving matters forward independently.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with court filings, calendaring, and deadline management.
• Ability to handle multiple active cases and prioritize assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, accountable, and reliable.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Available for at least 35 hours per week.
• Interest in a long-term opportunity with potential for full-time employment.
• Real estate litigation, landlord/tenant, business litigation, or probate experience is a plus.
