Job summary

Tyson & Mendes is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our San Francisco Bay Area team, offering remote work options. The role supports attorneys from initial case development through trial, providing critical organizational and analytical help on complex matters across state and federal courts in California.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, strong document management skills, and proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification required.
• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with California civil litigation.
• Strong MS Office proficiency including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with discovery (interrogatories, requests for admissions, requests for production, subpoenas) and motions, including supporting documents and hearings binders.
• Manage trial preparation: coordinate witnesses, travel, exhibits, trial notebook, subpoenas.
• Independently obtain, review and organize medical records and calculate damages.
• Work as part of a team with all levels of experience.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and attorneys about case status and preparation.
