Job summary

Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an experienced paralegal to support civil litigation, personal injury and construction defect matters.

You will manage case files, draft and proofread documents, and assist with depositions and trials in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience and a paralegal certification, with strong MS Office skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification is required.
• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Texas litigation experience encouraged.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with case management and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with discovery and motions, including preparation of supporting documents.
• Manage case files, organize records and review materials for depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare deposition binders and trial notebooks; coordinate witnesses and travel.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and attorneys on case status.
• Support attorneys with document management and workflow efficiency.
