Job summary

Econ One Research in the United States is seeking an Analyst to support damages analyses for wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour, personal injury, and wrongful death matters. The role focuses on building earnings and benefit loss models and presenting findings in clear tables and visualizations.

You will work with a remote team, communicate findings effectively, manage case documents, and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • B.A. in Economics (or closely related field).
  • Advanced Excel skills, complex formulas and structured workbooks.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to present data effectively through tables, charts, and concise summaries.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis efficiently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Clean, structure, and analyze data using Excel.
  • Build damages models and visualizations in Excel for earnings and benefit loss.
  • Manage, review, and analyze case documents with strong organization and confidentiality.
  • Independently gather data from credible public sources and document it.
  • Quality-check work product for accuracy, consistency, and reproducibility.
  • Support report and exhibit development, including drafting tables/figures to team standards.
  • Perform fact-checking and backup preparation for reports/exhibits.
