Job summary

Econ One Research is seeking an Econometrician to join a team working on antitrust and damages issues, supporting testifying experts and applying rigorous econometric methods to real-world litigation data.

The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in Economics (or related) with at least three years of experience, strong skills in SAS and Stata, and proven ability to mentor juniors and communicate complex concepts to attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics (or advanced degree with substantial relevant experience) focusing on microeconomics, applied microeconomics, industrial organization, or econometrics.
• Minimum three (3) years supporting testifying experts in complex antitrust and related litigation matters.
• Strong proficiency in econometric modeling and statistical analysis using advanced empirical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support testifying experts in antitrust and related litigation matters.
• Design and implement econometric models on real-world datasets.
• Manage and review workstreams, ensuring accuracy and quality of work.
• Mentor junior staff on analytical approaches and execution.
• Communicate complex economic concepts to attorneys, clients, and testifying experts.
• Produce clear written work products summarizing analyses and findings.
