Job summary

Econ One Research seeks an Econometrician to join a team working on antitrust and damages projects. You will support testifying experts and apply rigorous econometric methods to real-world data in a fast-paced litigation environment.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, designing models, and communicating complex economics clearly to attorneys and clients. Strong SAS/Stata skills and a PhD are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics with microeconomics/an applied focus.
• At least 3 years supporting testifying experts in antitrust litigation.
• Proficiency in econometric modeling and advanced estimation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SAS and/or Stata.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Support testifying experts in complex antitrust litigation.
• Design and implement econometric models on real‑world data.
• Manage workstreams and review analyses for quality.
• Mentor junior staff and communicate findings to attorneys.
• Prepare memoranda, reports, and exhibits summarizing analyses.
• Collaborate with case teams on timelines and deliverables.
