Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Litigation Attorney with shareholder and LLC experience for a remote, US-based contract role. You will contribute legal expertise to draft litigation materials, develop case strategies, and evaluate responses against defined rubric criteria.

The commitment is 10‑15 hours per week, with compensation of $100 to $150 per hour. The project is entry level, but requires at least three years post‑JD experience in shareholder and LLC disputes.

Qualifications

• Current or active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• At least three years of active litigation experience post‑JD.
• Hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
• Specialized experience in shareholder and LLC litigation.
• Strong English drafting and argumentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials.
• Develop and update case theory and strategy as facts change.
• Identify rubric criteria for strong and effective legal responses.
• Incorporate senior feedback and refine submissions efficiently.
• Flag ambiguities and procedural hurdles for resolution.
