Qualifications

  • Specialized background in Shareholder/LLC disputes, including fiduciary duty, oppression, buyouts, governance.
  • Strong English writing and legal drafting skills.
  • Ability to synthesize feedback quickly while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt deliverables to simulate real-world litigation assignments as you would for a supervising partner’s review.

Role Title: Litigation Attorney (Shareholder / LLC)

micro1 is engaging Litigation Attorneys (Shareholder / LLC) to contribute their expertise to an innovative project for a customer, focusing on litigation work related to shareholder and LLC disputes. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work
  1. Draft litigation documents—including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery materials—responsive to evolving commercial dispute scenarios, all under senior direction.
  2. Develop and update case theory and strategy consistently across multiple turns based on emerging facts and instructions.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Licensed attorney with current or previous bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' direct litigation experience, including hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice within the post-JD period.
  3. Specialized background in Shareholder/LLC litigation, including disputes among owners or between owners and entities: fiduciary duty, oppression, buyouts, and governance issues.
  4. Demonstrated expertise producing high-quality work product for shareholder/LLC dispute matters.
  5. Exceptional written English skills and fluency in legal drafting and argumentation.
  6. Ability to synthesize direction and feedback swiftly, maintaining a high standard across complex litigation scenarios.
  7. Experience in federal court practice, multiple matter types, or prior participation in AI training/evaluation projects is beneficial.
