Job summary

YO AI Labs seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney (contractor) to contribute to a project training and evaluating AI systems. You will review complex litigation and transactional documents, draft sample agreements, and provide structured legal feedback.

The role requires strong experience in M&A, private equity, capital markets, data privacy, and accurate legal writing. Remote collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, sharp judgment, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from a US law school and bar admission in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Experience at AmLaw 100 or similarly prestigious US law firm.
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation and sophisticated transactional matters.
• Strong expertise in M&A, private equity, capital markets, contract drafting, and data privacy.
• Experience drafting and reviewing high-value commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Exceptional written communication and the ability to articulate sophisticated legal reasoning clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate complex litigation and transactional documents, including agreements involving M&A, private equity, and capital markets.
• Draft sample agreements, contractual provisions, and legal clauses based on sophisticated transactional scenarios.
• Analyze legal scenarios and provide structured commentary to support AI model training and evaluation.
• Evaluate issues involving data privacy, cross-border transactions, contractual risk, and complex commercial matters.
• Apply practical legal judgment to simulated litigation and transactional scenarios.
• Develop and contribute to legal frameworks, evaluation criteria, and structured review rubrics.
• Identify legal risks, ambiguities, inconsistencies, and potential issues in AI-generated legal content.
• Provide precise and actionable feedback to improve accuracy and applicability of AI-generated legal work.
• Collaborate remotely with interdisciplinary teams, including legal, research, and technology professionals.
• Participate in iterative review and feedback cycles to refine training data and legal evaluation standards.
