Laurel Employment Law is a fully remote, tech-driven plaintiff’s firm redefining how employment law is practiced. We’re a team of smart, ambitious litigators who collaborate to deliver outstanding results for our clients and we have fun doing it.

We’re looking for a sharp, dependable Junior Attorney to work alongside our attorneys on matters across California state court and arbitration, reviewing work product and supporting motion work.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to the California Bar in good standing.
• 1–3 years of civil litigation experience; employment law exposure preferred.
• Comfortable on hearings, conferences, and depositions.
• Strong writing, issue-spotting, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Cover court and arbitration appearances across California state court and arbitration.
• Review complaints, amendments, and discovery responses for accuracy and strategy.
• Assist with motion work including research, drafting, and revision; leverage AI tools.
