Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking a legal assistant with litigation experience to join our fast-paced office in Concord.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with flexibility for a remote-friendly, hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include filing pleadings in state and federal court, maintaining attorney docketing, processing invoices, coordinating depositions, and assisting with opening new client files.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal assistant experience supporting litigators in civil defense.
• CA State and Federal Court filing including E-Filing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Filing and circulation of pleadings in state and federal court.
• Maintain docketing for attorneys including calculation of court and discovery deadlines.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys including processing invoices and scheduling depositions.
• Assist with opening new files and collecting preliminary documents from clients.
• Coordinate travel and scheduling of meetings; manage attorney schedules.
• Prepare correspondence and other written documents under attorney direction.
• Prepare and handle tracking and disposition of subpoenas or information requests.
• Organize and maintain files; monitor files and escalate issues.
