Job summary

Relay is building a cross-chain payments protocol enabling fast, low-cost bridging and transactions across chains. The Liquidity team focuses on reliable pricing, risk, and capital efficiency. You will own models, validation, and live operations, with high ownership and production influence.

The role covers portfolio management, hedging, execution optimization, and client pricing across multiple assets and chains, with a strong emphasis on production readiness and observability.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in quantitative development, quantitative research, trading, or equivalent applied quantitative work.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production-oriented mindset.
• Crypto or blockchain industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop portfolio-management and inventory-allocation models across assets, chains, venues, and liquidity systems.
• Develop target positions, delta-hedging policies, exposure limits within risk framework.
• Measure execution costs and optimize route choices across bridges, CEXs, and liquidity providers.
• Backtest and validate strategies with realistic costs, out-of-sample testing, and stress scenarios.
