Job summary

Ryan Consulting Group is seeking a System Administrator to manage and secure Linux-based environments, performing patching, vulnerability management, backup, and automation. The role requires hands-on experience with RHEL 6–9, antivirus management, and scripting for task automation.

The position is remote with occasional onsite in the Fort Worth/Dallas, TX area, offering a 4x10 schedule and a competitive pay range of $95,000–$110,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Hands-on admin of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6–9.
• Experience with firmware patching and patch management.
• Experience with vulnerability management.
• Data backup and recovery expertise.
• Scripting/automation of admin tasks; Ansible preferred.
• Experience with antivirus/endpoint security management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support RHEL 6–9 operating systems.
• Perform firmware patching and patch management.
• Support antivirus management in enterprise environments.
• Conduct vulnerability management activities.
• Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Support data backup and recovery processes.
• Provide IT customer support and service delivery.
