Job summary

Telia Cygate is seeking a Linux Engineer to join our delivery team within Managed Services. You’ll design, develop and maintain container-based platforms and help customers in their digital transformation journeys with modern cloud-native solutions.

As a Linux Engineer, you’ll design Kubernetes-as-a-Service, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor and optimize containers, and collaborate with development teams to integrate container solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Solid scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with fluency in Swedish and good English, plus mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Telia Cygate’s Kubernetes-as-a-Service platform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient delivery.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate container solutions into existing systems.
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the container ecosystem.
• Contribute to platform automation and continuous improvement.
