Job summary

Rampant Technologies, LLC. seeks a Systems Engineer to advance our IT infrastructure with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems and a strategic move toward Kubernetes containerization.

This role operates within a dynamic R&D lab environment closely aligned with the enterprise, maintaining, upgrading, and evolving Linux and Kubernetes platforms. You will act as a technical advisor to lab leadership and project teams, bridging execution and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical field with 8+ years related experience.
• Five years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
• IA certification such as Security+ CE or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and evolve Linux and Kubernetes platforms.
• Serve as technical advisor to lab leadership and project teams.
• Bridge technical execution with strategic goals through clear documentation.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
