Job summary

Bravas is seeking a Home Experience Designer to design and document high-end lighting and shade control systems for luxury homes. The designer will translate sales inputs into detailed plans, elevations, and proposals, serving as the SME for lighting and shading within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include creating installation documents, collaborating with design and sales, and ensuring drawings reflect all required functionalities while aligning with budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Understanding of AV systems with emphasis on lighting and shading control.
• Ability to read and construct documentation such as house plans, elevations, and lighting diagrams.
• Must pursue continuing education on lighting and shading control.

Responsibilities

• Research products and make recommendations to sales staff.
• Produce installation documents: plans, drawings, elevations.
• Collaborate with Design and Sales to realize the vision and ensure functionality.
• Specify drawings with other trades and communicate to PM.
• Update project documentation, proposals, and change orders.
• Provide remote support for field technicians.
• Occasionally travel to sites to observe systems in use.
• Guard client confidentiality and network/home security.
