Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a remote EST 6+ month contract. The role involves facilitating requirements sessions with scientists, translating workflows into clear requirements, and producing BRDs and process maps.

You will leverage Jira to manage backlogs and drive Agile delivery within Life Sciences teams. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of BA experience in Life Sciences or related fields, a solid grasp of chemistry concepts, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience required.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or research organizations.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and collaboration with medicinal chemists or related teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.
• Familiarity with In Vitro, Animal Study, PK/PD, and Toxicology data.
• Experience using Jira for requirements management and backlog tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management across scientific, business, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, workshops, and gap analysis with scientists and stakeholders.
• Translate complex scientific workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, BRDs, and supporting project docs.
• Use Jira to manage requirements and support Agile delivery processes.
• Support preclinical data initiatives including in vitro, animal study, PK/PD, and toxicology datasets.
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure successful solution adoption.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional teams.
