Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a remote EST based 6+ month contract with potential extension. You will lead requirements gathering with scientists and stakeholders, translating workflows into actionable requirements and supporting Agile delivery.

You will map processes, create BRDs and user stories, and collaborate with IT, data, and business teams on preclinical research data initiatives. 8+ years BA experience required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or Research organizations.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and collaboration with medicinal chemists or discovery teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.
• Understanding of In Vitro Research Data, Animal Study Data, PK/PD, and toxicology data.
• Hands-on Jira experience for requirements management, user stories, backlog management, and workflow tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, workshops, and gap analysis with scientists and stakeholders.
• Translate complex scientific workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, BRDs, user stories, and project documentation.
• Utilize Jira to manage requirements, track items, and support Agile delivery.
• Support preclinical research data initiatives including in vitro, animal studies, PK/PD, and toxicology data.
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure successful solution adoption.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional scientific and technical teams.
