Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience working within Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or Research organizations.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and collaboration with medicinal chemists, chemists, or therapeutic discovery teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.
• Understanding of In Vitro Research Data, Animal Study Data, PK/PD, safety/toxicology data, and non-GxP environments.
• Hands-on experience using Jira for requirements management, user stories, backlog management, and workflow tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across scientific, business, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, workshops, and gap analysis sessions with scientists, chemists, and research stakeholders.
• Translate complex scientific and research workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, user stories, BRDs, and supporting project documentation.
• Utilize Jira to manage requirements, track work items, support Agile delivery processes, and maintain project visibility.
• Support initiatives involving preclinical research data, including in vitro, animal study, PK/PD, and toxicology datasets.
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional scientific and technical teams.
