Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a remote EST contract engagement supporting life sciences and pharmaceutical clients. The role focuses on requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across cross-functional teams.

You will translate complex scientific workflows into actionable requirements, map processes, and maintain documentation while partnering with scientists, IT, and business teams to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, documenting processes.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or Research.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and collaboration with medicinal chemists or therapeutic discovery teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, workshops, and gap analysis sessions with scientists, chemists, and research stakeholders.
• Translate complex scientific workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, user stories, BRDs, and supporting documentation.
• Utilize Jira to manage requirements, track work, support Agile delivery, and maintain project visibility.
• Support initiatives involving preclinical research data (in vitro, animal studies, PK/PD, toxicology).
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional scientific and technical teams.
