Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a remote EST, 6+ month contract with a strong likelihood of extension. You will facilitate requirements gatherings with scientists and stakeholders, translate complex workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements, and create essential documentation.

You will use Jira to manage requirements, support Agile delivery, and collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure successful adoption of solutions, including

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analyst experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
• Experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Drug Discovery, or Research organizations.
• Strong understanding of chemistry concepts and collaboration with medicinal chemists or therapeutic discovery teams.
• Experience supporting preclinical research environments and scientific data initiatives.
• Experience with In Vitro, animal study, PK/PD, and toxicology data environments.
• Hands-on Jira for requirements management, user stories, backlog management, and workflow tracking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements gathering, workshops, and gap analysis sessions with scientists, chemists, and stakeholders.
• Translate scientific workflows into clear business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process maps, user stories, BRDs, and project documentation.
• Utilize Jira to manage requirements, track work items, support Agile delivery, and maintain project visibility.
• Support initiatives involving preclinical research data including in vitro, animal study, PK/PD, and toxicology datasets.
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communications across cross-functional scientific and technical teams.
