Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking an experienced life insurance sales specialist to work remotely on a 1099 basis. You will speak with families who requested information, assess their needs, and guide them through selecting coverage and completing applications from your home office.

Ideal candidates hold a life insurance license (or are pursuing one) and are comfortable conducting conversations via phone or video. A self-managed schedule is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed life insurance agent or actively pursuing license.
• Remote sales experience desirable.
• Strong communication and empathy skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested life insurance information.
• Assess each household's needs before presenting options.
• Explain coverage choices in plain language and assist with applications.
• Guide applications through underwriting and update families regularly.
• Record conversations and next steps in the CRM.
• Participate in ongoing product and state rule training.
