Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales professional. You will follow up with prospects, discuss household needs, present coverage options, and guide applications through underwriting, all from a home setup.

Eligible candidates will be self-directed, licensed or planning to obtain a state life insurance license, and comfortable using CRM and quoting tools. Training and licensing guidance are provided.

Qualifications

• Background in skilled trades, construction, or field service.
• Must be self-directed and able to manage own schedule.
• Willing to learn quoting tools and a CRM.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with people who requested information and set appointments by phone or video.
• Discuss household details before presenting coverage options.
• Walk through coverage options and complete the application with the client.
• Manage underwriting progress and update the client regularly.
• Log calls, notes, and next steps in the CRM.
• Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training.
