Job summary

The Wood Agency Life seeks a remote life insurance sales professional working as a 1099 independent contractor. You will connect by phone or video with families who requested information, assess needs, explain coverage options, and guide them through the application process from your home office.

You’ll manage a flexible schedule, participate in ongoing training, and coordinate with mentors to stay current on products, carriers, and state rules.

Qualifications

• State life insurance license (or plan to get licensed)
• Comfortable selling via phone/video
• Ability to work independently from home
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Call or video-chat with people who requested life insurance information
• Learn each household's situation before presenting options
• Explain coverage choices in plain language and help complete the application
• Follow through underwriting and update the family until a decision
• Log conversations and next steps in the CRM
• Participate in ongoing product and regulatory training
